AI Module 01

Exercise 1 — Use AI to rewrite an angry email BEFORE you send it. Practice prompt
Rewrite this email in a professional manner that gets my point across without sacrificing my dignity or shaming the other person.
Ryan: I am so angry right now, I am about to blow a gasket. I can't believe you cut me off during the middle of the meeting while I was explaining the project goals. This has happened before and it cannot happen again. I expect to be treated like a professional by other professionals in our office, and just because you think you know everything doesn't mean you actually do know everything. I am your supervisor and demand respect. And it's not just me that you do it to. Last week you did it to Theresa and the week before that to Brian. Your impersonal apologies when called on this behavior are not acceptable. We all know your pattern now, buddy, and are on the lookout. From now on, when I am speaking, I expect you to raise your hand and wait for me to call on you before you interject anything. Your apologies are not enough, it's time to see some actual changes in behavior. Sincerely, Olivia Monteville
Exercise 2 — Write a blog post for the County Parks Department Practice prompt

The audience is the general public who are interested in wildlife and visitors excited by the opportunity to get close to a sea turtle. Discuss the nesting habits, types of turtles and seasonal dates. Why do we mark the nests and how should beachgoers act around the nests? What should visitors do if they encounter a turtle laying a nest and what should they do in the event they observe a nest hatching? The article needs to be friendly and promote the ongoing efforts of Broward County and the State of Florida to protect these animals.
