Microsoft Power BI 1 Hour

Power BI is the hot topic application in the Microsoft ecosphere, but not many people know what it is, or what it does.  Learn what makes Power BI tick, and how you can use it right out of the gate.

Power Query is one of two sister programs that works alongside Power BI to build dashboards. Power Query specializes in getting data from a variety of sources and then cleaning it up for you to use in your dashboards.

Power BI uses a second sister program called the Data Model to build Measures and KPIs, which are aggregate values based on your data. You’ll learn how to mold your data to get the value you need out of it.

What you might have called a chart or a graph in Microsoft Excel you’ll learn to call a visualization in Power BI. This program takes those charts to a whole new level and adds in exciting features like interactive infographics.
